This is an invitation to a sacred act of visioning as the Long Range Vision Team asks St. Peter’s community to sign up for Jeremiah Project small group discussions in September.

Where is Christ calling St. Peter’s to go? What is Christ calling St. Peter’s to do? How will we answer Christ’s call?
This is the challenge that the St. Peter’s Long Range Vision Team is trying to address, creating a vision for the future ministry of St. Peter’s that grows and evolves its ministries to meet the calling and challenges Christ gives us. We are attempting to discern who we are and who we want to be as a church community moving forward.
Over the summer we held several small group discussions. During the fall we are holding more in order to make sure we hear from all quarters of the St. Peter’s congregation and community. These small groups will meet a total of three times this fall. The first meeting is a “starting” meeting, then each group will set the date for the next two meetings
We are asking all members of the church and the St. Peter’s community to participate in these small groups. You are asked to sign up for a “starting date” using this form, or at church on the Long Range Vision Team bulletin board in the church lobby.
Ideally, we will have a mix of ages, gender and length of membership at these small group discussions. We will have singles, life partners and married members participate. We want a mix of ethnic, economic status and sexual orientations. We want friends and strangers, those on the inside and those who feel excluded, to participate. In short, we want everyone in the St. Peter’s community to participate to help us shape our future together.
