Music Ministries
Senior Choir
Jean Moser,
Director
Meets
weekly on Thursdays in the Senior Choir Room from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Men's sectionals take place from 7 to 7:30 p.m. It
is the

for worship and special services. This group maintains a high
standard of excellence, singing music from every period and in every
style.
St. Peter's
Bells
Matthew
Hogan, Director
This
bell choir is open to all middle school age and adult.
Presently
the choir rehearses on Sunday mornings after the service. The
group plays periodically during the year and during special holiday
periods.
Pick-up Choirs
Jean Moser,
Director
Several
times during the year, when people are unable to come to rehearsals and
a choir is needed for worship, the congregation is invited to come and
sing. Rehearsals take place one half hour before the worship
service in the Senior choir room. Dates for the choir are
posted
in the newsletter. An example of a pick-up choir would be the
July 4th Red, White and Blue choir.
Ensembles and
Solos
Throughout
the year, especially during the summer, Christmas and Lenten season,
there are opportunities for those interested to contact the Director of
Music Ministries for rehearsal and service times to share musical
talents with the congregation. The music ministry team
maintains
a current list of instrumentalists and soloists available for the music
staff to draw upon.
Music
Ministry Team
The
Musica Ministry Team is composed of members to help and assist the
music staff with all aspects of the music ministry. The
Committee's main purpose is to support the professional staff in
furthering the music ministry at St. Peter's. The person
leading
the team is an Elder on the Church Council and attends the monthly
meetings of the Council. This group represents the church
membership seeking comments and suggestions for keeping the music
program vital, interesting, and meaningful. Please contact
the
church office if you would like to serve St. Peter's in this way.
