Called To Care is group of lay caregivers who
support the professional staff of St. Peter's in three primary ways:
Helping church members with short term crises such as illness or death in the family, loss of a job, or being new to the St. Peter's community Visiting and providing support to those who are homebound, especially church members with no nearby family or close friends Working with individuals or families that have special need situations, including physical, mental or emotional difficulties It should be emphasized that Called To Care is non-professional in nature and not intended to replace the work of ministers and other care-giving professionals. Should any church families or individuals have situations where the support of a Called To Care member might be helpful, please feel free to contact the church |
