Jennifer Petkus full Bio
Jennifer Petkus
began working with the children at St. Peter's United Church of Christ
in 2008, and enjoys not only teaching music fundamentals, but also
enriching children's lives with the joy of music making.
Jennifer
received her music training while attending the Indiana University
Jacobs School of Music. She received her BM with distinction
in
clarinet performance in 2004 and her MM in clarinet performance in
2006. While attending school she held positions with the
Columbus
Indiana Philharmonic (2nd clarinet), the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra
(principal clarinet), and the Carmel Symphony Orchestra (bass
clarinet). She also taught private clarient lessons to
students
at Bloomington North High School and in the surrounding community.
Jennifer wasa member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago in
2008-2009 and curently teaches private clarinet lessons at Lyons
Township High School and Highland Park High School.
