Dr. Larry Leonard Life at St. Peter's: God's Vision for a Family of Faith St. Peter's United Church of Christ is a welcoming, warm congregation that theologically stands in the Reformed Tradition. The theme of St. Peter's and the United Church of Christ Denomination is "In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty, in all things, charity." This expression represents the spirit and the character of a congregation that draws together many people from diverse backgrounds into a caring and serving church. Sunday worship is at 9:30 a.m., and excellent childcare is provided. Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month, and our Communion table to open to all baptized persons. The congregation is currently in an interim time between installed Senior Pastors. The search process has already begun, and we look forward to the arrival of the new Senior Pastor sometime in 2007. Our "Interim Time" has been, and continues to be, an exciting moment in the life of this great congregation. The Church Council and the congregation are currently engaged in a process of thinking about who we are and to what work and business God is calling us as a people of faith. Pastor Jeanne, Associated Pastor Rev. Jeanne Santucci Murawski is our Associate Minister. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and Eden Theological Seminary. Pastor Jeanne is originally from the Northwest suburbs, and currently lives in Aurora with her husband, Mike. She enjoys using her God-given gifts and talents for the work of the church, and encouraging God's people to do the same. Shari Haug Shari Haug grew up in many places but graduated high school from St. Charles West High School in St. Charles, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri, Columbia where she received a B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She later attended Northern University and received her M.S. in Education, with a reading endorsement. She has taught in Charleston, South Carolina and Winfield, Illinois. Her background is with kindergarteners, first and second grades.
